Weather shows wrong days

Today, tomorrow and 3rd day are all really the same day

At 12:15 AM on Monday 2009 Feb 16, I logged in and checked the weather applet.  Of the 5 fly-outs, it showed Today (presumably Feb 16, but I think it is values from Feb 15, yesterday, aka Sunday that ended 15 minutes ago), tomorrow (same values as "Today"), Monday (which is what today is, really, but apparently not) and with different values (presumably the correct Monday values, but I am doubting that because another applet shows very different values, so I am not sure now...), and Tuesday and Wednesday.

I guess it really needs a code change to fix the date determination...

I have a picture, I am not sure how to show it in this forum...

Perhaps the feed is down, but there is no indication.

Still the same on Monday at 9:32 AM.  3 of the 5 fly-out entries are Today, Tomorrow and Monday, but it is already Monday...  Shows same temp values as last night.  Clicking on "Update Now" does not correct it.  I just tried double clicking it, and it says "Local forcaste not available".  I didn't know I could do that.  I changed to a different city, and the fly-out remains the same as before.  Change again, and now it says "Feed not available, try again...".  Rats.

My applet says "Internet not available". Maybe the problem's with accuweather?

The gadgets such as from Halloween MyColour is working fine.  The Weather Gadget in the ObejctDock-Plus is not working well.  It might have the correct current temperature (I'll have to watch it later in the day), but for sure the fly-outs are not working correctly.  Both are using AccuWeather, and the AccuWeather site seems to be operational.

Snow Dog: What time zone are you in?

Oops, my flyout seems to be acting up also, in the MST zone and it's showing Today, Tomorrow, Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday at the moment.:O

My timezone is EST.  My fly-outs just started working again in the last couple of hours.  I now have (properly) Today, Tomorrow, Wednesday...  So, is it the application having a problem, or AccuWeather, or something else...?

Time to bump this thread. I just installed My Colora along with the encounter theme. I ahd not used the weather gadget before but had used the one in ObjectDock, which works fine.

With this though i get the wrong day in the gadget, and the wrong date format.

It lists today as Friday June 3th. Now i have enever heard of the 3th of any month.

Is there a fix for this? Is this an accuweather issues or a Stardock issue. I like the gadget but if it's going to be borjed and unfixable i'll have to uninstall it.

Everything else works ok.

Cheers.

(Vista 64 all updates.)

The flyouts in the dock, yes they show just today, tomorrow..etc...in the desktop gadget though it lists full date.

I have same problem as original poster (Snow Dog) had ... it is Monday, but ObjectDoc Weather Docklet 5-day flyout says ... Today, Tomorrow, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.

Wild guess would be (as Snow Dog said it was working after a few hours), that time zone got something to do with it. Maybe days are calculated by different time zone for which it is still Sunday? :)

I'm in Tallinn, Estonia.. so what I wrote in Weather Docklet setup was also "Tallinn, Estonia".

PS. Look at the date and time of my post ... whoever is going to check or do something about this bug.

Peace!

Aside from the fix Wizard1956 posted, another obvious thing to check is that your clock is set correctly and in the correct time zone.  Often this can cause problems like this as well.

My Weather object had not been working for the past 5 days.  "Feed not available", so I too tried the new .ocx file http://sd.stardock.com/ken/stardockweather.ocx it worked.

XP 32bit system.  Now to make another image with the update.

I wrote too soon.  Today it is back to "Feed not available- try again later".

So I exited OD and restarted it, now it is working again.  Any other solutions?
