please keep the simple exit option

one thing I hate about most games produced today is that it takes about 5 screens and confirmations to shut down a game. some taking as much as 3 minutes just to quit. I like this. hit esc. choose exit. no more game. simple. easy. fast.

anyone agree with me?

definitely. I'm also happy to see that the task manager give a quick and simple shut down of the game.

Probably since it's tradition.

I didn't mean to imply that we were going to be taking out Alt-F4; I just meant to say that I added Ctrl-Q because I wanted a quick and simple way to exit. I like Ctrl-Q, probably because most of the games that I played when I was growing up used it, and it's less of a reach than Alt-F4.

I'm in favour of it. An please keep ot to "Quit" or something as easily understood...not like in Europa Universalis, where you have to "Surrender" or in Planescape:Torment, where you have to "Abyss" to leave the game

Did the marketing guys get too close to those games? I wonder
