Researched both levels of divination. After colonizing with a Progenitor mothership, both levels of planet exploration upgrade are completely free. Is this deliberate? Seems like there should just be a massive discount ...
IIRC, it's like that in vanilla Sins. To be fair, it's either going to be ridiculously cheap or free, and by the point of game that you've done all that research and leveled up your Progenitor enough, free makes a little more sense to me than the pocket change it would otherwise cost.
I agree - free exploration at that point isn't really broken. But researching two levels of it manually every time is a bit confusing - especially since I didnt notice that till now after playing the game for almost a year now. : x
If it really is deliberate, I suggest making free planet upgrades happen automatically (just like the Akkan's free extractors).
