same hear... why it cant just uninstall the expansion is beyond me.

 

luckly i had updated SOASE first with an archive.  ill see if that archive works before having to DL 2.3gig again.

There's no need to worry. After ordering Entrenchment, the window would automatically show that you would download it online, through Impulse. Impulse is specifically meant for the download of games and other applications anyway.

After uninstalling the beta, then downloading and installing SOASE and Entrenchment, I couldn't play Entrenchment.  Impulse told me that I needed to restall Entrenchment first.  I thought this was strange, so I uninstalled it (which uninstalled SOASE also).  I am now downloading both again.  I hope I am not caught in an endless loop of fragmenting my hard drive.

usually, i think Impulse is a great program, however, the number of times i had to un-install and redownload both Sins original receipe and entrenchment put me over the limit for monthly downloads and cost me a whopping $1000

it should be quite simple to just un-install entrenchment rather than the whole freaking thing!

i am SO pissed off

thats the last time im EVER participating in a Stardock Beta unless they improve Impulse
