Dual Monitor problem

Hey guys,

I just purchased DeskScapes and am loving it so far but for some reason all the dreams and scapes that I select only show up on my main monitor and not my second. Second one is still displaying the usual things like my weather and clock widgets, a few docks and so on but no scapes. Any ideas?

If it helps I'm running WinXP SP2 with an Intel E5200 (2.5GHz) 2Gb RAM and an nVidia 512Mb 8600GT.

Thanks in advance!

EDIT- Well this just keeps getting worse and worse. Not only will it not display the selected scape on my second monitor but now to change between scapes I have to open up display properties and select a static wallpaper and then go back into DeskScapes and select another one...but all the scapes I've downloaded only work for 5-30 seconds now before freezing which requires the static wallpaper solution to fix...until it freezes again...

The more I learn about DeskScapes the more I wish I'd never spent my money on it. So many bugs and glitches. My system works perfectly with everything I throw at it and I have more than enough power to handle DreamScapes and the scapes on offer from this site yet it doesn't run smoothly in the slightest.

Second EDIT - I forgot to mention that while things ON my second monitor work, the applied background that was there is removed and any windows I open on that monitor leave an image behind even when I close them.

Neil Banfield has created a couple that will run on both screens in XP.

It's up to the dream creator to make them work on dual screen systems. In Vista it just "clones" the same screen to both monitors but in XP you actually have 2 unique screens. I have the snow version and it works great. I also have the issues with applying dreams but I rarely change so I haven't suffered from it too much.

The fact that yours freezes is a problem tho.....I'm running SP3.....not sure if it matters. It may be the specific codecs you have installed or some other issue (not all codecs are created equal) I think you might want to try a uninstall/reinstall and if that doesn't work start a ticket with Stardock support.

How nice of them to exclude that info from the DeskScape website. Thanks for the answers, Lantec. Not what I was hoping to hear but it sheds some light on the situation.

EDIT- Ok, I'm gonna try Stardock Support. Can't believe they have all the accounts seperate for wincustomize, forums and support...what a pain.
