I haven't checked, but is there a command stack? in example, you send your minions to one path with several checkpoints so you can "scout" the map...or just make your General to go to fountain, get an item and back withouth having to track the whole process.

i haven't checked with 3a, but in the other versions i was unable to stack orders, the devs should really had that in my opinion, it is really helpful.
