Can't update impulse -> Can't update Sins -> Can't update fun

So yeah. Impulse's update gets to some arbitrary percentage and just stops. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it twice.

At first I thought that it would come installed with the update, but apparently not. Regardless, the download has failed three times so far. The second time was particularly mean as I went to do something else while waiting, and when I came back, the "Downloading Impulse update - xx.x% (1 of 1)" message wasn't there, but it said that I needed to update impulse. >.<

Any ideas?

Similar problem, my update to Sins stops with a message "Invalid Parameters".  Entrenchment downloads fine, but won't install, the message says "Waiting for Sins of a Solar Empire to install".  Any help?

You will need to manually remove the game folder, and run the fix below before you'll be able to re-install.

Go to C:\Program Files\Stardock Games\Sins of a Solar Empire (or where ever you installed the game) and delete the main Sins folder.

Once you do this, download the file below (follow the link in IE, as other browsers will simply display it as a text file):

Save the file to your Desktop and run it from your machine. Then, reboot your PC and go back to Impulse and try installing the base game. Make sure it installs to 1.15 version, test it out before then installing entrenchment.
