Misreported download speeds by Impulse (possible bug?)

Just purchased SoaSE Entrenchment through Impulse. I have an uncapped ADSL1 connection with an ISP here in Australia. The maximum sync rate for me is 8192kbit/s. I've just watched Entrenchment supposedly download at around 1.1MBytes/sec, with an upper peak of about 1.59MBytes/sec (according to the impulse download manager). This is not possible given the connection i have - at Entrenchments download peak it is almost 2x what I can actually get. Is this an impulse bug with the formula it uses to work out the download speeds?

Another thing; the size reported for Entrenchment is 305.90MB in the upper right corner of Impulse (where it shows 'Available Version' and 'Latest Update', whereas it reports the download size during downloading as 102.90MB. What gives?
