Pinned Starbases

I have Entrenchment.

I have always turned off all of the "pinning" to the left side of the screen. It annoys the crap out of me. 

Now when I build a starbase it pins the planet up. I cannot get it to go away. After a while I get many gravity wells up there with starbases and I will be moving huge fleets through them, which just gets more and more junk in my way.

EVery single item under the options menu for "pinning" is turned off.

How can I get them to not be pinned up there?

Any answers or am I stuck with it until a patch/update/new expansion?

There currently is no option to NOT auto-pin starbases. It would be great if it was added in a future patch.

Also: how about NOT showing mines in the empire tree at all. Or make them just use one field for all 150 mines instead of 15 with 10 mines each.

I would really like to see some improvements for the empire tree :-)

It could be very useful, but the lack of customization options now makes it annoying a times :\
