Will Entrenchment go retail?

I'm curious to hear from someone at Stardock if there are plans to release Entrenchment for retail purchase.

I'm uncomfortable about downloading the expansion because I don't have a very big hard-drive (my computer is kind of old) and also, if for some reason Stardock closes down or is sold, I might not be able to download it again.

Even if it's bundled with the original Sins, I'd buy it again. I love Sins :)

Well, if your hard drive is the problem then a retail defintely won't help you..and after you downloaded it nothing stops you from making a backup of your old HD or at least the Sins folder

The expansion packs are theoretically going to be sold at retail bundled when all three of them are out, but that won't help if your hard drive is too small to have them installed, as Azrak has stated.

And just for the record, Sins is (chiefly) an Ironclad product.

By itself it won't be in retail. Maybe after they're all released they'll be boxed, but that's not set in stone yet.

Another worthwhile question, is, will an updated and patched Sins GOTY version ever go retail?  As far as I know Ironclad and Stardock don't have any plans to put a GOTY version on store shelves.  I can't understand why not since having "GOTY" and various accolades on the packaging might help sell more copies.

The only explanation I can think of is that it might make it easier for pirates to obtain an updated version of the game, but I would assume that anyone who wanted to pirate it has already done so and that they're happily playing the Seven Deadly Sins mod right now on v1.05.
