Mini-game or Unused Code?

I was browsing through the 1.03 Galciv.exe file and found it contained a whole bunch of strings relating to some other game where you produce products and market them and try to create a monopoly. Is there some hidden mini-game in the code or is this some module that should never have been compiled in?

That would be "The Corporate Machine." If it is what you say, I'm sure it doesn't belong there, but it might need to stay for consistency reasons. They probably copied some of the TCM concepts and just left that stuff in there.

makes sense. if you made a whole game revolving around economy and business you'd be a fool not to reuse it in a game with a market and economy, comments and all...
