Definate bug v. 1.03A

Current Military & Social production is not reset. That causes an intersting thing to happen. I had battleship as my latest technology, invaded the planet, colonized it and discovered that unless I change production it will be producing dreadnoughts.

While this is certanly in my favor (in this case) I dont think this is intended:)

It's actually a feature, although I think that after the first ship is finished it's supposed to stop...I'll have to fix that if that's not the case.

Another "minor inconsistency". Unless computer "openly cheats": After getting all of the information about another civilization through spies I have discovered that the amount of cash they have is : -220000, that is an interesting concept as human player is prevented from going below 500 without eliminating all of the expenses. The situation would be normal except AI player was generating just slightly below the research that I was doing. A bug or a feature to help AI?
Difficulty level was Normal

Addition to the previous post: Patch Level 1.03A
And while we are at it - are there any reasons why:

1) MP3 player keeps "shutting up"
2) Constant crashes. Between my system and my friend's i crash about 3x more.

The system specs:
P4 3.06
2Gb Dual DDR 266
NVidia GeForce4Ti
Dual screens attached, however the system keeps crashing even if I reduce it to one active screen (figured painting issues)

Additionally:

From time to time (cant figure out the pattern) I hit a turn button and nothing happens. The button changes the view as if a turn is being made, however the game just sits there. All the menus continue to respond, the "Find" button continues to function as designed.

Re-Loading the game doesnt help (the same thing happens as soon as you click "turn") however quitting to desktop and restarting the software does. Quite annoying.

Third and last for this batch:
AI's downside. Minor faction is allied with Major faction, The war is declared on Major faction, Minor faction automatically declares war due to allied ruleset, however, the minor faction is not strong enough and therefore accepts peace at any possible offer the same turn (i.e. 10 small techs, all the the points and 1900 per month for 10 months); there was nothing left after that:)

Well it generally doesn't help the AI to have their economy go down the toilet...but it is possible even for the human to get that low.  There are times when even your tax and trade income are less than your maintenance, tribute, and it doesn't stop your espionage and destabilization spending either.

1) I'm not sure what you mean by shutting up.  Could you please provide more details?

2) You'll want to update to 1.04 with Stardock Central, which fixed a lot of crash problems from 1.03.

The easiest explanation for the turn button getting stuck is if the game is waiting for input from you; it's not always obvious.  An autopilot colony ship may have reached a star and is waiting for you to pick a planet.  Or you may have hit the turn button while going through the events (opening the planet screen and closing it will get past that particular one).

Currently I run 1.04(.59 i think) latest from stardock update. When I said
"1) MP3 player keeps "shutting up"

I was talking about any type of sound in the game completely disappearing with no obvious pattern.
The only way to get the sound back is to kill the process and load up the game.

I've had the 'shutting up' as well..
The sounds keep working fine, but the music stops, and I hear some small garbled music clicks.
As as you've mentioned, the only way to get it back is too kill the game and restart.

Currently using 1.04, but it was present in 1.03 as well.

Hardware:
AMD 1.53ghz.
386 MB DDR
Radeon 9700 NP

This has been true every since I played the game and I'm always running the most recent non-beta patch.

More commentary regarding this. If I recall correctly, you can keep building more as long as you do not change to another option. I seem to remember buying a dreadnought and still having the opportunity to get a second. I do know that if the option is changed, then it is lost until your civilization acquires the needed technology.
