1.04 Year 2184 repeats *bug*

from Stardock Forums
Year 2184 playing small map all bright? I think. Grav Accel. finishes at 2184 and every turn is 2184. Have save game if needed, just tell me where to send it to.

Not sure what I did, changed econ and rush produced something else, I think...now years continuing.

I'll need both the .sav and the corresponding folder, and your prefs.ini file from your data folder might come in handy also.

Hey Senator,
thanks for the reply, there's another problem. I thought I saved the game by overwriting another saved game (ver 1.03) and the save didn't work. 1.04 seems to only be able to save 'newly' created saves or saves from 1.04, but cannot overwrite old files. I should have known better and saved on a completely new file. If you still want the save (which is on a new save, but well beyond 2184), then I'll send it to you tonight. Also, autosave and previous auto save wont load properly on my machine.

The saving problem has been global, and has been addressed by Cari. I can only speculate that it will be fixed soon.

Yeah, the save game not overwriting bug is fixed in the latest build, but the games that you attempted to save by overwriting would have been saved as New Save Game.

If none of your save games can reproduce the bug anymore, you don't really need to send it to me, but if you see it again I'll definitely want to take a look at the game.
