1.04.058 Comment

I like everything I have seen in 1.04.058, with 1 exception:

The new "single item per turn" purchase is a good fix for a way I was cheating :-).

However, there is a side affect that is killing me: If I purchase something, then change my mind and want to purchase something else (either more or less expensive), it not only won't allow me to do so (which is acceptable, but not liked), but also REVERTS the queue to the previously purchased item on the next turn, even though I had changed the production.

Where this specifically was an issue was where I was building a Constructor on a planet, so when I went through the initial part of my turn where the planet queues are dealt with, I went ahead and purchased it. Then, after I cleared through the queues, I noticed that I was about to be attacked, and I didn't have adequate defenses. I wanted to purchase a ship: I couldn't, and when I came in at the next turn, I didn't notice until after I had been attacked twice that my queue had been reverted back to the constructor, so I blew through it when I was dealing with the planet queues. When you have a game with a lot of planets, this is a big problem!

I also had an instance of a game that wouldn't continue past the current yet, but I think I caused it (I continued a 1.03.057 game without realizing it).

Hmm...you're the second person who has reported the repeating year bug...

I have no idea what would cause that sort of thing, but I'll keep an eye out for it.

I'll see why the autobuild isn't building the ship you changed to after you purchased the original...
