A JoeUser Debut: Jace

If anyone would like to see photos of the perfect grandson, I have put them on flickr (can't seem to figure out how to get them all here):

Hope that works...

Hit the gym for the first time and it really helped my stress level.  I find that I stress about the oddest things.  My laptop has been getting increasingly slow loading things when I first turn it on, so the husband asked me to take it to a little local place so they could see what the problem was.  Had trouble sleeping all night because I was trying to figure out how to make sure all the things I usually am signed into automatically were signed out, and tried to think of what info might be at risk.  Meanwhile I am very aware that anyone good enough to work on fixing computers can probably hack any info from it at will, no matter what I do.  So I stewed over that instead of sleeping.  I am paranoid about these kinds of things and I'm not sure why.

At any rate, first the gym.  My foot, which really didn't bother me at all at JLO's (was it too cold to hurt???) where I was in bare feet/socks the entire time, of course is hurting since I've been home, so I took it slowly on the treadmill and we only did about 40 minutes of strength training.  Will see how that goes--it usually hits me about 36 hours later.  Then went to have my wild hair cut.  It was limp and lifeless in the dry, cold north but once I got here--wild, frizzy curls that just get bigger instead of longer.  So I'm back to being somewhat under control.  Will see the foot doctor on Thursday and get that going.  Meanwhile, I'm still getting bills from the surgeries last year--may have to pay some $5000 for things that didn't work.  Such is the wonderful health insurance industry.

I am sick about what is going on with the economy/government.  All the time I was away I was missing news, but ignorance truly is bliss.  This is ridiculous on so many levels.  And it's aggrevating to see so many companies with their knee jerk reactions that actually serve to make matters worse.  The husband is hoping, hoping for a decent retirement package--so many people at so many varied companies are feeling the same way.

But when things bum me out I now have a goofy photo of the perfect grandson on my cell phone, so all I have to do is open it up and I can't help but laugh...
