Yes I know you were talking about the Galactic Empire from the Original Series. The Sith Empire goes back to the beginning of the organized Force users (aka Jedi). There are thousands of comics based upon that time frame. It's history is much larger then the Galactic Empire and possibly spans beyond it as well.

Banned because retconning is my second least-favorite neologism ever, not least because of what has been done to Star Wars and Star Trek stories in "it's" name.

Fuck this franchise shit.

I want to go back to the days when authors wrote stories from a fascination with their own internal worlds and not with an eye towards cross-marketing plans or the long term value of so-called intellectual property.
