If you want a GalCiv2 AAR plug, the top of the heap is Diary of a Terran Soldier. I could never have written one as good as that because I'm still waiting for the game to open up to some sort of multi-polar/multi-species modeling perspective. The Terran-centric bias was what got me bored quickly with GC1 and underlies most of what I wish were better in GC2. Given Brad's fixation on using currency as a universal variable, I'm not hoping GC3 will be that much better, but maybe by IV or V...
