You're Banned!: The Forum Game

Okay, here's what you do for this game: You have to "ban" the person who posted above you for an outrageous, silly, or funny reason. Got it?

Banned because, languages have been borrowing from each other for a really long time, just as religions do.

Edit: LIES, Ryat :P

banned for languages do borrow from one another, but probably not as often as you think. Just about every Western culture comes from the Indo-European people, so they started off with the same language anyway. Even though basic words, like mother, sound similar across Europe, it's because they just didn't float that far off from their origins. Of course, there is also the fact that humans can only make so many noises. I've seen two languages with no contact for thousands of years still create homophones.

Banned for needing PoA.

3. It is cute, because it DOES look like a baby.

End of quote
No, that's the only reason I can't tolerate it. I have a strong phobia of babies.

Banned because I ordered my Halloween decorations last night.... this year's setup should be the one to finally get me a spot in the local paper.

Banned for baby-phobia. What about hot babes? Are you scared of them too? :P

Banned because she does not look like a baby. She does, however, look like a hooker. Send her over to John Boehner's office or someplace like that... then I'll be happy.

Banned for I didnt say she is a baby, dummy :P I said she is a babe, thats a big difference.

And if I could "send her over" someplace, I'd send her over to my home |-)

Banned because there is obviously a difference. She does not look like a baby, and I am afraid of only three things: babies, carnivorous plants, and things that will kill me. She does not fall into any of those categories, although I would likely want to avoid her because she would expect me to find her attractive, and when I didn't I'd be in for another round of tedious and awkward explanation that sometimes ends with people assuming I am gay and getting all homophobic and preachy and sometimes violent.

But it doesn't matter, because my Halloween stuff is going to be here in three to five business days, and my mom will let me put it out September 31st, and I can stick it to the guy on Roxbury Road with his fancy custom-built tombstones and maybe make it into the local paper.

Banned because obviously you dont know the difference between babies and babes

Banned because I know the difference quite well.

A baby is an infant Human with a malformed head and vacant, staring eyes.

"Babe" is an often-derogatory term for an attractive woman, although it was once used as a synonym for baby.

Not bad but like it when the text is stronger. Last one was fine.

Scoutdog, I'm sure you can understand why saying she's not hot is an invitation for curious looks and questions of sexual preference. I think she's hot and does not look like a hooker. I've met plenty of hookers. They usually dress flamboyantly poor and strike you as inbred or inner-city leftovers.

And she is most definitely a babe.

If you want proof of my awesomeness, I'll have to arrange it. Please, no notarization, for sake of ease.

Banned because first off, you're assuming I'm not gay and would thus want to post a picture of a man I find attractive. I don't think I've ever actually told you my sexual orientation (for the record, I am not gay- as far as I know). And as for attractiveness, you forgot to define which standard of attractiveness to operate under. Obviously, what a young American man in 1954 would find attractive differs considerably from what a young American man in 2010 would find attractive. However, in terms of mating partners both physical fitness is ultimately the attribute all Humans should be selecting for. Although it doesn't seem to be all that heritable from a genetic standpoint (disregarding environmental influences, which are often "inherited" by the simple fact that children are usually raised in close physical proximity to their parents), the purpose of sex in an enlightened society is not procreation but recreation- thus personal preferences are the sole metric to be used. And my personal preferences are that intellectual expansion and material gain are in the long run far more rewarding than sexual acquisition.

Hint: in case you're really dull, some of this is just me being strange to lead you around by the nose and avoid an in-depth discussion of a topic about which I am rather uncomfortable. But I won't tell you how much is real and how much isn't.

banned for picking on poor scoutdog due to his dislike of recreational sex and the many things that come with it

@scoutdog - hey sounds good to me, personally I enjoy sex but strive for a completely monogamous relationship, this means even striving (though I fail sometimes) to not view porn and am often looked at as being odd when I avoid such things so I understand where you are coming from in the whole not wanting to see porn thing though my reasons may be different
