I'm not familiar with the graphical representations of the original Pokemon, but that looks like a team that isn't exactly E4 material... Pidgy? Squirtle? Four of the thing that comes before Kangeshkan?

The older versions of Pokemon didnt have specific icons for each and every Pokemon.

1 of them is definitely a flying type Pokemon, 1 is water, and the rest of them could be almost anything.

Banned because Kangaskhan doesnt have any pre-evolved forms. Unless you are talking about the Pokemon that comes before Kangaskhan in PokeDex # ..... :|
