How do we use the trainers such as the money trainer?

I have downloaded the money trainer and even click on it to get it started but it doesn't seem to work. They say to simply type "z," but this doesn't work. What am I doing wrong?

Probably nothing. I don't know if the trainers are kept up to date, but GalCiv gets updated quite frequently, and minor changes to the executable can prevent trainers from working.

Also, if you do get the trainer working, don't bother submitting the scores to the Metaverse, as it will get detected.
