go for the puple stars they gots the best planets with tons of good quality.

There are purple stars as well and while they often do have good planets in them, it's not a given. I've seen one as high as 26 and I've seen one as low as 15. Don't know whether they're naturally any better than yellow stars, but they're at least more rare.
