I was in the game you were trying to connect to. You definitely have some nasty setup there because you weren't able to connect to any of the players.

Did you follow the instructions in http://forums.demigodthegame.com/345345?

Frogboy when i tried to connect to the game you had hosted, was it me that was not connecting or was someone else holding up the cue??? .... ive opened up 6073 on TCP and UDP and ive just read the post about checkin the impulsereactoroptions, am i right in sayin if i go with defaults and open up those ports on TCP UDP respectively that would be what yer after? the post didnt specifically say .. i take it yer just openin up a range? can you tell us what ports the game uses or is THAT the purpose of impulsereactor?

Ok we all just managed to connect to your game label'd "ultimeh" there but it never actually made it to the lobby even though it said we were all successfully connected ..

That's because you didn't even see HyperSuper there. He has some serious security on his connection.

I have some serious issues with mine aswell, my problem is that my ISP has disabled the option to do anything about on the router. I need to buy another one X|

("TIP:
If you know what you're doing (and only if you know what you're doing) you can load a program that's in the bin directory of Demigod called ImpulseReactorOptions, set up the options there and then seperately go to your router and make sure those ports are port forwarding to the right machine.

To learn how to port forward, see this website: http://www.portforward.com/")

quote from frogboy's post

its very vague information care to elaborate on what you mean by set up the options ?

I'm having similar problems, I'm not sure if it's me or not after looking at this though... I can connect to most people but there's usually at least 1 person I can't connect to but others can and it's usually sat there for about 20 secs trying to connect the last pairing and then kicks them. At this point we're then waiting for another to join and nothing happens, bug or just takes a while?

__________EDIT___________

Might just be a coincidence but I was running the game straight from Impulse, I closed Impulse and ran from the .exe and it now connected to the other players almost instantly, but now it hangs at the "finding players" bit after my team had all connected :( (in Pantheon btw)

____ Edit Again... ____

Was a coincidence, keep getting kicked from games for not connecting to players now :(

My problem is the NAT settings, however my ISP has disabled configuring it.

I can connect to people with open NAT, but not those with moderate or strict.

how exactly do you even configure the NAT settings in the first place ? im pretty confused

If you have not seen it, this user guide has more details surrounding what you need to do to open up ports on your firewall and router.
