The game pauses fine when menu is pressed in single player tournament but does not pause in single player skirmish which seems odd.
Anyone else experiencing this?
Yep. Having the same problem. I was torn between grabbing pizza from the kitchen and winning a skirmish! 
I've the same problem, I just play in solo skirmish and cannot pause the game !!!!! What are the developper waiting for ?
I've noticed (for the short time I'm able to play games before my game decides it hates me) that by default, the pause option is set to "none" for skirmish maps and you can set it to 3 timeouts or infinite timeouts
