Chained Patches

Hello,

As far as i heard.. GPG and Stardock wish to maintain the game in the upcomming month by realeasing patches now and then.

I do not know how patches are usualy handled by Stardock but I know It was quite wrong by the time of SupCom (nothing to do with stardock by there). The problem was when you were re installing SupCom, something like 6 months after the realease date, and didn't think too much how to update the whole lot soomthly... well you connected for the first time to GPG and you were asked to update which is normal... but the update were applyed one by one.. and it took and incredible amount of time in the end.

As i don't really know how you intend to do thing with this game... I'm suggesting here is to systematically built patches that take the version of demigod as it is sold in the store and do all the work in a row.

It would also be a good idea to make it so : if a digital version is download after the patch.. it's the patched version you download imediately.

I realize this will take you a bit more time, but i think I will be appreciated by many gamers.

If this matter has already been sorted out, well sorry for the useless post.

Cami

with sins of a solar empire via impulse it will patch to the latest version in one go so I assume it will do the same for Demigod

although currently no update option is on impulse for me, there was an update option the next day from 13th to 14th, to ge he 1.00.047 patch but now the new one isn't available,  hopefully its not something impulse has to wait over night to acknowledge.
