Anyone else getting [no text] when launching a game under the map name on the loading screen? I can't get past this point, I got to play fine earlier but not now for the past 4 hours.
Even with single player skirmish i'm getting this error now, I can only play single player tourney.....
YES! I'm getting this error as well. I can't play LAN, hamachi, or online. It's VERY frustrating. Sometimes it randomly works and when it works, the no text is gone and replaced with the normal text.
Did you guys have the beta? IIRC there was a similar issue before caused by having old preference files still present from a previous build.
i was in the beta yes, but uninstalled first. Can you direct me to where the preference files are stored on vista 64 bit?
yep both comps are up to date completely, same with video and sound drivers.
Prefs should be under My Documents\My Games\Gas Powered Games\Demigod.
My friend and I both have this issue and neither of us were in the beta and have rather different hardware configurations. We are both on Windows Vista and I know I have all the latest updates installed. This issue cropped up for both of us when we attempted to play a 2v2 skirmish online together. Ever since then only single player tourney works.

And apparently deleting the preferences files does the trick. I still find it interesting that I never had an old preference file from beta as I was never in the beta.
Had this occur today after playing the game successfully for almost a week. Deleting the preferences file resolved the issue. It's been a long time since I've seen a game this buggy.
