Cannot register, will not accept my legitimate cd key

As the title says when i try to register my copy of demigod that i bought no more than an hour ago it fails and says ref:204. The box was properly sealed when i bought, this should never happen with a game.

BTW: i have checked and checked digit by digit and even tried to enter letters that could look similar to some numbers. when i change any of the characters it gives me a completely different error; (ref:2)

Did you enter all the dashes and such?

If the issue is with the key itself, you should email [email protected], since of course the cd key isn't something you really want to post on the forums.

Yes i have tried without the dashes, with the dashes, lower case, undercase, every way imaginable. i have entered it at least 10 times by now. thanks for your help, this is so frustrating.

Actually posts 3 and 4 are not really helpful at all this is a major problem for me as well. I can not register the game  it says the code or emaila ddress is not valid error 204 we just bought from walmart.

 Thanks zubaz for that.  I did send an email to the support email with my Reciept/GameCDkey/Box scanned so hopefully I can get it done asap.   Lets just hope that the next game releases wont have duplicated CD-keys or any issue's with CDkeys what so ever...because its a pain. We just wanted to play the game now we have to go through all this unwanted/unnecessary work that wasn't asked of us.... which is still "sorta" worth it since its a good game. But at a professional gaming company level - it shouldnt even exist.
