Ok, I have to say about this Demigod or my head will explode.

WTF STARDOCK!?!? (/Ironclad/gaspowered games)

What happened when they were creating Demigod? Was it lack of funding? Lack of ideas? Were they high? I bought Demigod thinking how it would be good since the same guys who made Sins made Demigod. Apparently I was wrong. 

Basically the whole game was ruined for me will two factors: First, No tutorial at all. Not even a little "Oh hi, I'm demigod. move me by right clicking." They didn't even try on that front. The second deals with some serious imbalance. This may be able to be counted as user error but whatever. Like, two or three demigods are so overpowered that before 5 minutes into the game, they have already destroyed my frontal towers and started attacking my citadel. Again, maybe I just suck but I'm sure some others have noticed how powerful the torchbearer and oak are compared to the rest of the demigods.

For those of you read the rant all the way through, thank you. I really needed to get that out of my system. Feel free to flame me, berate me, report me, or whatever. This is my first and probably last time on impulse forum anyway.

I (personally) feel that the Rook and Sedna are far more powerful than either of those two...  Did you read the manual?

Play online, there are plenty of "noob games"where you can learn :). I do agree on many things you said though. 

As for some demigods being better than others ..well that will probably change soon considering all the updates we are getting.

first off Stardock didnt make DemiGod, nor did they make Sins of a Solar Empire. Gas Powered Games made DemiGod, and IroncladGames made SINS all Stardock did was publish them. But i do agree, they normally dont publish crap games and as much as i love the gameplay here, overall its an awful game. The Multiplayer doesnt work, and oh wait there is no single player outside of bots. So yeah its a MultiPlayer only game that has no MultiPlayer, Gas Powered Games totally sucks. After Rise of Nations they went big time downhill. Supreme Commander was allright but Space Siege was a big steaming pile and this game doesnt work so good job Chris Taylor. You just ruined the great reputatio you once had.
