Back in beta, through the use of a workaround you could watch replays of your battles. This was fun and shoutcasting Demigod was a thing to do when the games worked. However it doesn't seem the replay functionality made it into the final release.
Is this coming? If it isn't, it very much should as replays are a key aspect to making the game competitive.
The replay of your last game is still being saved in a folder so I think the infrastructure for replays are still in the game. I'd imagine it is on their post-release to-do list. I really hope it is one of the items at the top of their list after they get all their multiplayer problems under control. Replays are fun for the community and very useful for indviduals hoping to improve their game skills.
There are many things eluded to within the game files that are not currently available. Replays, Mods (UI and Game) have what appear to be pieces that were disabled but will probably be enabled in the future.
replays would be great. a game like this one would benefit so much from the community being able to see how the best players play.
also, please make sure that version updates don't invalidate old replays. that was one of the huge problems with replays in Sins of a Solar Empire and it made them almost worthless. being able to watch old replays would be nice.

However they are still buggy and half my replays go "player x has left the game" and the game ends when there is clearly still more to go and it has the rest recorded (i can tell by file size).
