Metaverse gone haywire?

Did something just happen to the metaverse, because I'm seeing all kinds of weird numbers when I look at it, like I'm only at 986 cumulative, but in 24 place when I was in 30th or so a day ago with about a 4499 rating. The scores are all out of sequence or something odd like that.

Anyone else seeing this? Anyone know what is happening?

Another 'improvement' :)
Maybe devs testing recalculation of old scores with another algorytm?

I'm not sure - one of the problems is that it displays the average score when first log into it instead of the overall score like the sort box says. Another quirk or problem is that when you display by average and sort by map type, it doesn't say what the rank is for you, it still shows your overall score rank.

It's a good idea, but it needs some wrinkles ironed out.

You know what, I didn't even notice the score filter there. It looks like on the default view, its showing everyone's average score, but sorting by overall score. I see now. Thanks for pointing that out. I didn't even notice that.

EDIT-- Sort filters seem to work okay except for Huge maps. Still, this is going to make things much more intersting for comparisons and such.

The only thing missing is "sort by version number". It isn't realistic to compare pre-1.04 scores and 1.04 scores, especially on tiny.

I hope the fix the default from 'average' to 'overall' like it says it's sorted by. There's nothing wrong with having the option of looking at average scores, but it's nothing that I ever want to see as it really tells you nothing from the p.o.v. of how the metaverse is scored and ranked (or even play skill if it's a player who plays a range of map sizes).
