AI builds

So far i've been testing the game with cpu, and although i'm always winnig skirmishes with nightmare, he ALWAYS has a much more better DG than me. It doesn't matter what character I or the cpu plays, for exaple: even if my UB has movement above 8, and attack speed 0,6-0,7, cpu's Oak is faster, has more HP and deals much more dmg. So does the cpu cheat for higher difficulty, or do I just suck at DG builds?

Well that would explain why after killing the cpu at the very beggining and farming mobs he still reaches lvl 5 as fast as me :] I guess it's possible he just has a load of items from the artifact shop.

Yes the AI cheats on higher difficulties.

A good Oak build will hit harder and have more HP than some UB builds, and his surge of fath and penitence skills can give him a big speed advantage, but yeah thats why they call it nightmare.

My advice, play online.

All of there base stats are higher than yours. Just check there health at lvl 1. You will see they have about 1k more than you.

Of course, this shouldnt be a problem. The reason the harder AI's cheat is because in a game of tactical choices, AI's fall behind. Hence to make it challenging, they get to cheat. Still, Nightmare AI is only as good as mediocre players if you ask me. They just do incomprehensible things or make very bad decisions (like teleporting to and capturing flags they already own that have merely been walked through by the oponent. They still get the bonus for the flag yet the still insist on teleporting to it to max out the bar.

Just keep practicing. You should be able to beat them, they are not that difficult.

If you let Nightmare get access to the artifact shop and if your AI feeds them a bit of gold, you can forget about killing some of them. UB becomes an absolute monster on with his cheats and artifacts. Sedna doesn't hurt so much, but she'll never die because Nightmare gets a crazy health regen bonus on top of her auras and skill, and she'll also have a ton of armor to boot so your 500+ weapon damage on paper will be doing 150.

If you see your friendly AIs die a bit much, try to make sure you don't give those nightmares access to the artifact shop :P They may be stupid tactically, but if all of them are barreling down your citadel you don't have much choice but fight.
