some basic questions

Hi,

I have some questions concerning game mechanics. If there is a website somewhere where this kind of information is available please let me know. For some of these questions i think i know the answer, but would still like to now for sure...

1. Does armor protect only against physical damage or also against spell damage? If only phsical, is there some way besides massing health to protect against spell damage? Are all skills considered spell damage or is the hammer smash for example physical damage?

2. How much gold do you get for killing which kinds of creeps?

3. Can you cap flags faster with multiple people? If so, how much faster?

4. How big is the XP range? (where you still get XP from enemies getting killed)

5. How much gold do gold mines generate with and without updates? (per second or minute or something) If two mines are displayed instead of one at one flag, is that just graphics or do they actually generate twice as much gold?

Well, I probably have more questions but that is all that comes to mind right now.

Thanks for the knowledge

1. Armour only protects vs physical, no way to reduce spell damage other then to interupt it. Yes all skills are their own damage, as far as I know that applies to rooks hammer as well.

2. Minimal for creeps, probably around 2-10 for creeps.

3. Yes, 2x as fast for two people 3x for three etc.

4. Not exactly sure but i'd take a guess and say it's the length of the lane where the artifact shop is on catatract. (not the whole lane only the section)

5. It's about 2 gold per second per mine. So the first upgrade brings it to 6 per mine, then 10, then finally 16. Answers your other question as well, they're not just graphical. (If you want to comfirm make a game on exile then zigurant. Exile has two mines and zigurant has 4. (probably getting the name wrong on the "Z" map but meh))

thanks, that's useful information :-)

is the gold per second value for each player or for the total team (meaning for a 5 player team with 2 lvl 1 mines 4 or 20 gold per second)?

The "Currency Upgrade" is not per Mine but an absolute value. Level I increases income per second by 4, Level II by 6 (in total not additionally, so it only add 2 compared to II), Level III by 8 (in total again).

And both gold mines and the citadel upgrade is gold/sec per player.

That would mean that mines aren't upgraded, only citadel income is? How much gold do mines generate then?

The range is 30 meters.  As an example, Oak's Penitence has a range of 15 meters, so you can be pretty far away and still get xp...

but you have to dp at least 25% of the damage to creeps yourself in order to get the gold.  Which means you can get XP by hanging back and doing nothing, but to get gold you have to get in there and mix it up.  (kills by Generals minions don't count).

Even though it doesn't seem like much gold per creep, it really does add up, especially early on.  Get in there and kill your creeps.

For demigods you get buku gold and XP for scoring the last hit, and some less gold and XP for assists.
