Unclean Beast Threshold...

I took the Unclean Beast for a spin and noticed that for some reason when I achieved 14th level his melee attack speed increased dramatically. The observation was made as I chased down The Torch Bearer. Prior to that experience level and that moment, I had average attack speed; it seemed as if my level 14 achievement suddenly boosted my melee ability. I purchased no items in that relative timeframe (from 13 to 14) and I did not utilize an ability. I did have Unclean Beast`s increased movement speed ability unlocked, but it had already been active some time prior to this... the bonus performance from that was already evident and humble, though noticeable.

I could certainly simply be unfamiliar with the Beast`s attributes/quirks... I do not normally play him. On the other hand, as I said this sudden leap in attack speed seemed unusual.

Anybody else notice such?

There is a lot of possible variables here but if you really want to test it, level to 13 check his attack speed then level to 14 and check it again. Maybe it was an item proc like the 25% chance for 30% atk speed?

Wasn`t a favour item active either - I had Mard`s Hammer, which is a constant static bonus item. Will take him for another run specifically with this occurrence in mind.

I tried replicating the conditions, but I am not a good enough Unclean Beast player to have brought those about. Will keep trying.

My perception/observation might have something to do with Diseased Claws... . More later.
