Doesnt contain much strategy. Not over all very useful. If you are new to this type of game, by all means read it. Anyone who is not being continualy killed, or who has played a decent amount will find very little help with this article.

Have you been online lately? I have had more of my team-mates think they can 1v1 UB only to get slammed and die within the first minute...

That is what this guide I beleive was aimed towards, Newer players who ARE getting killed by people who have played longer or were in beta. I agree if you played something like DotA for a few years this is mostly second nature. But not everyone is used to playing this way.

Still think it is a great read.

For completely new players absolutely. But there is very little meat to the guide. It covers something that is indeed important but really doesnt help any more then making people aware of the fact that they need to find the "critical mass" point of their char when playing against others. Its something you cant learn from a short guide. It has to either be a very VERY long one, or, and far better, actually playing and finding out what point you need to back off.

Again, if your brand spanking new to these games, may as well read it. Anyone whos older then 12, has played a game like this before or has half a brain wont be helped by this.

Id say the damage by skill list would be useful but it is incomplete and in some instances wrong.

Well here's a start on the skill list:

UB Spit - dot is over 10 seconds

rank 1 - 50 intial 450 dot (avaible at level 1)

rank 2 - 100 intial 800 dot (avaible at level 4)

rank 3 - 150 intial 1150 dot (avaible at level 7)

rank 4 - 150 intial 1500 dot (avaible at level 10)

Putrid flow 500 damage over 5 seconds (avaible at level 15)

That's argueably the most important skill to note when running away. I've gotten many kills from people who thought they could run back to base after being spit on. Especially rook players need to learn, you're slow you need to run back much earlier meaning missing a hammer slam normally results in you needing to retreat.

Looks like they just added in all of the damage (A combined Damage) for that move.

The guide covers what it needs to as really most of it is experience. I can go into a fight with UB and be able to tell right away which way it's going to go. You can't really teach that. It's a matter of keeping in mind how much damage that demi can do to you. In UB's case how much he can do even after you've ran. It gives you pointers and lists the total damage of all the skills you need to know. Tells you what you should consider when fighting, that's all that can be taught.

If Demigod were to really take off, it would involve getting people who have never played DotA involved.  Strange thought eh? A guide like this will help with that a tiny bit so I think it's great!

I have played DotA before so I really am quite used to this, Even so there are so little nuiances between the two, so it really helped me get an overall grasp of the possible burst damage output I could receive!

I agree good guide!
