Continuous Crashes

Demigod crashes a lot when I try to play it.  Sometimes, it occurs withing a few minutes of me starting a game, other times I can be well into a game before it bombs.  I've posted two of my crash logs below.  I am running Demigod under Windows XP x64.  Can anyone help? I am having a really hard time actually playing the game.  Thanks!

Dont worry I am in the same boat, I receive these errors when I am in the lobby for no reason.

 

If I get into a game usually I will receive a Microsoft Visual C++ error and the game crash's.

 

I have all the latest drivers for my system.

Running

Q9650 at 4ghz

GTX260

Soundblaster XFI Gaming

Windows Server 2008 x64

I just patched the game and will see If the problem persists

To confirm I was playing a simple 2v2 online and it crashed with the same message.

I think this game has memory leaks.

While playing Demigod online the game always crash's to desktop and give me a Runtime Error Microsoft Visual Basic C++.

(Please see .jpeg for error message)

This has been happening consistently since yesterday night.

I am using all the latest drivers, my system is completely stable otherwise.

I've included my dxdiag.txt, jpeg error, Demigod log file.

Please look this through and find a solution for me.

Hello,

Some freezing/crashing/slowdown issues are being caused by an audio conflict. The developers are aware of the issue and are working on a solution for it.

There are a few things you could try that have worked for many people on the forums.

First, make sure your audio drivers are completely up to date.
Second, go to the audio settings in the game and turn off the Reverb option.
Third, go to the Windows Control Panel and open your audio/sound settings and change the configuration to 'Stereo'.
Lastly, if none of the other options helped, make a shortcut to Demigod on your desktop and open it's properties. At the end of the 'Target' line add a space and "/nosound" (without the quotes). This will load the game with all sound rendering turned off(playing the game without sound really isn't as fun, but it will make the game playable until the issue is resolved).

If none of these help, then your issue is being caused by something else, and you should respond to this support ticket for further assistance.

Thank you for the quick response. I'd like to confirm I've already tried the /nosound executable shortcut but I still run into the same problems.

I have installed the latest DirectX version from March 2009.

I tried running the game in stereo but the problem persists.

I work as a technician in IT so I know what I am doing.

As specified this only happens Online I can play for hours on end in Single Player mode.

I never had this problem in the first version of demigod it seemed to appear after playing a couple of multiplayer games about 3 days ago.

I upgraded to the latest version yesterday and I still am experiencing problems.

All my drivers are up to date. Latest Nvidia Drivers, Latest Soundblaster XFI drivers, latest motherboard bios everything is good.

It seems after the game was updated to .93 these problems started appearing.

My current network setup is Modem/Router LinksysWRT610N /PC.

I have ports 6073 and 6100-6200 UDP forwarded to my static PC address.

I've disabled UPnP within my modem and my Router.

I modified the ImpulseReactorOptions.exe to allow ports 6112 to 6132 (default)

I've disabled the SPI firewall on my router and have created and exception in my windows firewall to let DEMIGOD and Impulse run without traffic filtering. My antivirus is Webroot Spyware and Antivirus with Gaming mode turned on.

My NAT is enabled but most of the filtering option are disabled.

Defragged my computer as well.

All my 20+ other games installed play perfectly Left4Dead, Crysis, DOW2 etc.

System Specs.
Windows Server 2008 latest updates installed.
Q9650 at 4ghz
EVGA GTX260
