Need help with Erobus

Looks like when i play a turnament against Normal ai, i manage to kill them easly with the:
Go in (with the bats skill) - Charm - Bite - chase to finish kill or go out

but when i play against hard
i go in, tring to charm but they interupt me or if im successfull it only charms for 1 sec and it dont help at all
then im tring to bite but they fighting me and by that time i got 50% hp left, so i bite
i gain some hp and it dosnt damage the enemy DG much and then i run because then they start to use thair skills on me

so i end up beaten, with life 60% hp and 50% mana and running as my skills colling down
and they chaising me and then take the flag or whatever they wanted to do over there...

so as u can see i loose any 1 on 1 battle
even though im following the strategy guide of swarm - charm - bite - chase (instead of chasing im running...)

If you feel you've spammed your skills and haven't put a dent in the opponent, you'll most likely need to check your gear/level/health/mana and what not.

 

I've had some successful games with Erebus where batswarm and bit have crippled opponents. Not that this is a part of the build but I do recall grabbing a point in the mist skill merely because I wanted to give additional time to my cooldowns to pop out, and in most cases the ai/players will usually move out of the mist - giving you more time to gani some distance if you need to run.

 

I'd only advise one point into it as the skill keeps you stationary and drains too much mana after, but it is still a decent skill to regain your breath and composure. Just an alternative you can try but again, the Batswarm - Charm - Bite and beat to a pulp approach have worked decently well.

 

And make sure to invest points to get vampiric aura late game...Again these are all in guides but I can already guess pre-printed text may not provide you any comfort.
