dual monitor support

dualhead systems are getting to be pretty standard these days, i have been using them since win98 and ever game i play i have lamented that my 2nd monitor is sitting there doing nothing (or just watching irc etc)

adding dualhead support would be great for allowing a persistant info window, showing scores, and spells screen constantly, as well as a chat interface perhaps.

yeah, just like in Supreme Commander - the only game I know of that supported dual view.

But for starters it would be nice if they could just cage the mouse into one monitor ... when I reach the edge of the game monitor the mouse travels to the desktop. And if I click there, I am on the desktop, which isn't good in the midst of a battle.

What exactly would you put on the second monitor? In SupCom it made sense because you had the big map on it, but there's absolutely nothing in Demigod that could go on a second monitor.

i think there are more important matters to attend to first and dual monitors IS NOT A STANDARD, or any where near it yet. just because you have ti doesn't mean most have it(i think the fact you have been upset that few games have this shows for that as well)

Sometimes I have the same desktop problem and it will get me killed. But other times I play the game it limits my mouse movement so I don't have to worry about it...

Aroddo. you can use an app called Ultramon to do exactly that. It has many other features too, like a functional task bar for the 2nd monitor, wallpaper manager, manage display profiles etc....

You can set the feature "Lock mouse to active Window" with a hotkey shortcut, works a treat.

It's not free, but i have found it to be worth the money.

Ultramon.
