Is the FlavorText screwed?

Help!

Ok, so I am trying to change all of the flavortext entries to new races. everything goes fine, until I try to add my 2nd race, the Luminoth (replacing the Iconians). Then the thing crashes upon loading. I have tested this several times and it seems that everytime I change two races, it screws up. Thoughts? Suggestions? Rants?

Well, I've attempted to do this five times and it always crashes, but I will check back to make doubly sure....

Yep, it IS a tricky file for more reasons than i can list here but let's try a simple one; Race IDs and how they are loaded to match custom and opponents referencing tags to each individual "block of text" for particular situations (good, neutral or evil, btw).

Great. Now I've got a bug on my hands: I was running a series of tests with changing the dialogue tags and was able to confirm that it always works when only one race is changed, then I went to bed. When I dot back to the tests in the morning, I discovered that ALL the races now use the generic tags, even when mods are disabled. Have re-checked it about 10 times, and it always does this. Am going to search the support and gametalk threads for solutions, but considering how wrecked the forum searches are and how many entries there are, a nudge in the right direction would be appreciated.

Simple go to this specific section of the file...

And tell me if 0(Human),1,2,3,4,5,10(Generic) tags match with your corresponding RC dialogue fields.
