When selecting a demigod or mousing over a button sometimes the game experience a broken record for example:
Say you selected torch bearer, he would continue to say "I, I, I, I, I " and eventually finish his sentence. This bug is really begining to annoy me. I tried an uninstall and that did nothing.

I actually get that too, it's more annoyingfor the narration at the end of the single player tournament, just because that's the closest thing to a reward you get for winning (and I love that man's glorious, glorious voice =P)
I just attributed it to the /nosound issues, as mentioned in the pinned topic, but if other people are experiencing this too then i'm not sure
I usually get this when I got junk in the background eating my CPU up. Maybe that's a problem?
I have broken sound issues, too. Mostly in the main menu waiting for a connection or immedeatly after entering the character select screen.
Also, in-game sound crackles if too many things are happening ... like 300 units attacking at the same time
I get this sometimes as well and I have the game in windowed mode and have watched my cpu spike on an oc'ed x2 4800+ and a quad qx6700 oc'ed to 3.8 both have 4+ gigs of ram. There is a definite problem with the sound if you use on board or soundblaster. I have tried both as I have them. The game has an actual problem in regards to it's sounds so hopefully it will be addressed.

in my topic, sound crackles, the fix is there, http://forums.demigodthegame.com/349544 and it fixed my issues.
