LAN game crashing computer

When trying to start a LAN game, the game locks up.  Sometimes it locks up when selecting LAN from the menu.  Sometimes it goes to the next screen (where I can choose to host or join) and then I can't select anything from the menu.  The curser still moves, but I can't do anything else.  Ctrl-Alt-Delete does nothing, nor Alt-Tab.  Tried leaving the game as is for five minutes (just incase) and nothing changed.  It was still locked up.  Restarted and tried again.  This happens to both computers.  LAN worked until I got the latest patch (04/25).

All drivers are up to date, including motherboard drivers.

Are you trying to connect over a router that does not allow communication between domains? Info please.

Yes, the router allows communication between domains.  It is a Actiontech GT724R, if that helps.

LAN connection worked great until this latest patch.  Even if the router is the problem, I don't see why that would completely lock up the game.

If you are playing over LAN exclusively and wish to do so until the next patch fixes the poorly-tested version out right now, I suggest re-installing the game on your machines, and not attempting to connect to the Internet lobby to avoid the game trying to patch itself.

Yeah, I thought about re-installing.  However, I figured I should report it so GPG can try and fix it.  I'm guessing LAN testing wasn't a high priority.
