Configuring a symmetrical NAT router

I'm trying to find the source of my connection problems and have come across the fact that I'm connecting through a symmetrical NAT router. I'm wondering if they is the problem. UPnP is enabled, and 6073 is forwarded to my machine. However, there still seems to be a problem. Router is a linksys wrt110.

you need to disable UPnP and also fwd ports 6100-6200 (UDP only).

if you have UPnP and port forwarding enabled, it can cause issues.

I did that, and some other things, something amongst all of it worked.

My router/modem also uses symmetric NAT, and no amount of port forwarding and configuration has allowed me to play Pantheon or custom matches.  I have to use GameRanger.
