Kicked from the game but not kicked

I played a custom game today. The game started. During loading, I got the message that I got kicked from the game by the host. I wasn't able to OK the message. After a few seconds I waas in the game, playing normally as if nothing happened. Perhaps it was some minor glitch, could indicate more bugs with determining the status of the connection to the game.

this happens to me every game i play.

I get the message that i was kicked before the game started.  I then ask how many human players there are and everyone responds.
