What is the current version of DG?

When I open Impulse, my Demigod says the version number is 1.00. This can't be right. Wasn't the game patched already?

I noted that it did patch after I installed it. Then later it seemed to patch again, yet, my version number is still 1.00.

Am I missing something?

Impulse lists 1.00 since it drops the build/stage number (showing only major/minor version). If you're up to date, the bottom corner of the main menu in-game will list the version as 1.00.0105.
