Regulus's mines affect buildings.

I may be the last person to notice this, but: I just learned yesterday that Regulus's mines can be used against buildings: that is, not only do they deal damage to buildings, they also are triggered by buildings.  I'm not sure this is a good or effective way to use them, but it's something you might want to bear in mind when playing with or against him.

So can snipe, and the UB's spit plus some other abilities. Eventually this will be balanced...

Which makes building hp+regen that much better.  The sooner people start realizing citadel upgrades > artifact whoring the more they'll start winning.  You can tell who the artifact whorers are when they talk about pwning with super high dps/attack speed/tanking gear.  Against a good team, the game will never reach that point.

I don't really think it's one way or the other necessarily.  While I will agree that the first team to get catapults is often the winner, upgrading citadel vs upgrading hero's tend to be pretty balanced.

In my first few games, I did artifact whore.  Now, like you said, I never get to reach that point.  Not to say i never get enough gold to go to the artifact shop.  It's just that by then we are taking down the enemy citadel ftw, so there is no point in going.  The sooner people realize this, the better off we will be.

It will never reach that point because good teams don't die often, unless of course you are against another good team who knows how to coordinate.

Also, WTB Team Pantheon.
