it seems to me that the "latest posts" column on the root of the forums is not the latest post at all, it is the latest topic to be posted.. if someone replies to another (older) topic it doesn't change anything the last topic to be posted is always there, which really defeats the point of a "latest post" forum feature.

I come to the forum and check that column for new posts but it's always the same topics because no new ones have been made since then.. just a small bug I wanted to gripe about.

I hate the way it works right now as well, and have plans to fix it when I get back to working on the forums.
