How would you counter a 3v3 you = oak, queen, reg. vs them = sedna, sedna, oak

We got utterly raped last night from a sedna x2 + Oak team on Prison.

Oak went assassin build, queen went minion build, reg went ?? because he quit after 5 minutes ( which helped us getting raped ).

The other teams Oak became a force to be reconned with. I think he got items because he would take out queen's ( me ) shield in 2--3 hits and then 4-5 hits later queen was dead. We were forced to stay near our base but they still got us down pretty good. Around level 9 or so we said "GG" and dropped off. We couldn't recover. I wish you could see what items the opposite team is using if you stay the whole game because how the hell are you to get better if you don't know what the other team was doing / using?

So, any suggestions on how to counter sedna x2 + ANYTHING?

You got raped because your teammate left, most likely. High dps > sedna. UB, Reg, and Oak should be able to do it without too much problem if they are equal skill to the sedna, though it may be later into the game before they start to be able to come out on top.

I cant personally think of a way to really counter all 3 of them in a direct fight with your team... your only interupt is penitence, you have no REAL stuns, and heal is really too fast of a cast to catch without some luck. Prison also doesnt really let you avoid them at all either.

If all 3 grabbed warlord punishers and blasted the same sedna (perhaps getting the other as well) that's 1200 mana gone. That might get you some breathing room. Also, having your queen go for ground spikes for the armor reduce (firing it off after the warlord punishers) would help (making sure to run your ass off as soon as you use it ofcourse) especially if the reg was a more auto attack build rather than mines / MOB. Then again a mines / mob build could help you separate the oak from the sedna's... although you'd have to stick the game out to a higher level for that to work.

if they are well coordinated you are screwed, as they have huge quantities of healing power and you have effectively none.  They have the ability to focus fire you while out healing your focus fire.  Unfortunately when it comes to stacking characters sedna x2 is pretty powerful.  That being said, it depends on what part of the game it is.  Late in the game Rook, UB, Oak, Regulus can all get absurd damage if they can get the right equipment.  Enough damage that even a team of 3x Sednas could not keep it healed if they focus fire.

you have no REAL stuns

That's the key.

From late mid game and later, it would be very hard to kill any good player without a stun. If you are going to let a game last that long, pack some good stuns (AoE ones especially).

I would define late mid game when one's total gold is above 7000~8000.

There are very few teams I'd say that require specific countermeasures.  I think Oak and Sedna are a great combo, but they don't need anything special.  Your biggest problem was that you had an AI ally.  While I think the AI plays Regulus better than any other demigod, it's still very stupid and reckless.

Focus fire the Oak (he's going to be doing the most damage if he's competent). Once he's dead (which will happen FAST with properly spec'd reg/QoT/reg) you then kill the Sednas, focus firing them as well.

Also, you're biggest problem was probably the AI. Having an AI on your team usually means the other team gets 1000 gold for free every minute. :/
