Confused: Drengin.net upgrade and Metaverse...
from
Stardock Forums
I recently upgraded to Drengin.net (due to Brad's evil plot regarding beta distribution ;)), but I seem to have some problem with my metaverse score.
I have read on this board that when upgrading, you needed to change the serial number associated to the userid in the metaverse.
When I changed the serial number from GalCiv to Drengin (in the metaverse), all my games disappeared, but my total score and number of games were still correct on the roster (although it was 0 in my empire roster). I changed back the serial number to the original galciv one and the scores reappeared.
I have not subimitted a new score yet since I upgraded, but my understanding is that it will not work if I don't register my userid with the new dregin.net serial number.
Is there a way to do this without losing your previous scores? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated
