Just ONE person cant connect to me every game.

It seems that way and then either he or I get kicked. Annoying.

I've forwarded ports, set firewalls ablaze, etc and can now play online.

HOWEVER:

In almost all matches there's one person I can't connect to! This has happened so often that players have come to recognize me as a bane!!! =((( Almost everytime I join a custom game or attempt to skirmish  there's only one person I continuously "attempt to connect" to. That person connects to me but I cannot connect to them, most of the time and sometimes vice versa.

The result is that I get kicked and generally avoided as a player!!! This saddens me greatly since I am a great Rook player and want to have fun!!

To make matters more interesting, I've read other players complain about this same problem in the online chat!

Please help me find a solution?

The proxy did seem to help a little bit. Too bad, it takes a while until it works and I usually get kicked from most games quite fast for having a yellow ping.

Please also note... This WILL NOT fix Pantheon and Skirmish games because that is broken on Stardocks end. Nothing we can do about it except wait for a fix... (This will/should make custom games playable for now though!)

I've been running Demigod with /serverproxyonly since Frogboy first suggested it, and have been able to play a great number of games online. I have all firewalls down and have forwarded the correct ports.

However, there are still people I cannot connect to. They appear as green 0ms speeds on my screen and in the connection information screen THEY connect to me but I cannot connect to them. Either of us rejoining the lobby does not help. Waiting for a while does not clear the issue. People still avoid or kick me from their games on site because of this. Even my friends are distressed with me because I create connectivity issues which result in having to kick people from the lobby! =(

I've been trying to tell those players who i cannot connect to that they should use /serverproxyonly as well, but I don't think they are listening to me. I also do not know whether, at this point, that will help.

I'd appreciate more information andany advice I can get.
