Regulus Favour Item Guides

Madmandrit here, this article will show the different kinds of favor items that are most useful for Regulus. Most of the items are situational, unless you know the kind of build your going for. First I'll start with the ones in the favor shop, then assassin favor shop....

Recently I prefer the 800 favor assassins poison dagger favor item. (Not sure if thats the correct name).

That mixed with his slowing talent makes it impossible for people to escape, or even make it 10 feet to tower range.

The only downside is that you need to be strong enough to make people run away, though it makes for seriously dangerous 2 v 1, 2 v 2 situations.

I'd strongly disagree with brilliant bauble and charm of life.  These are favour items that, IMO, aren't even worth unlocking.

Charm of Life is a weaker version of blood of the fallen.  The only edge it has is reduced death penalty.  Of course, death penalty is usually around 20 seconds.  Ten percent of that is two seconds.  That's not even worth consideration, always take blood of the fallen and ignore the charm.

Brilliant Bauble similarly isn't worth your time.  For the vast majority of the game, +10% extra experience won't even put you a single level ahead of the enemy.  By the time 10% extra experience actually adds up to something useful, everyone will be close to level 20 anyways.  In the long run, items that increase your mana supply (blade of serpent, anyone?) result in more experience by letting you stay in battle longer without having to return to a crystal.

Yea he mentions in the guide that these are "worst" verions of other items, but they are cheaper and so for some people who are still new to the game and have little favour points, they can be useful.

If those are the only things you can actually afford, then there's no decisions to be had in the first place.  You either use charm of life or nothing at all.
