Dont make anything extreme of overpowered.

This goes more for future demigods.

Extreme character making there is a good chance to ruin the gameplay.

Everytime you make a skill extreme you run the risk of it comboing real good with something else or not matching up against another demigod.

Hence you make a rock, paper, scissor game where the match is decided before the game even starts.   Oh they got sedna and X we cant out damage thier survibility.  Or they got 3 regulus and we dont have anyone who can counter.   Especially later on as gameplay is figured out and teams form.

From a style standpoint and maybe even a handling standpoint its great to make each demigod unique.  But power wise no demigod should have anything that stands to far out from the pack less you end up with a rock paper scissor game, instead of a strategy game.

Thats why I know how to play all the demigods?(sept regulus and rook, i just dislike them)

If my team needs support I go QoT, problem solved, its no longer rock paper skizzor but who is more skilled. Sure some demigods mesh together "better", but its not game deciding.

And the game isnt decided for atleast the first 5 levels in my opinion, regardless of setup X,Y,X vs Y,X,Y

If you want to see rock, paper, scissor, go play World of Warcraft pvp.

Its gonna be hard to have absolutely no rock paper scissors aspect of the game, some Demigods will always have slight advantages over others, same as Dota, and yes, WoW pvp. Fortunately Dota counters this with an insane number of heroes to choose from, and so far this isnt a huge issue in Demigod at all.
