Sedna vs Weapon Damage Oak

Goddamn, there was nothing I could do. I even bought Parasite Egg, but the damage is far too low to acutally kill them. I mean, yay, 250 damage per pounce, that'll really kill 1000hp+regen+easy replace minions. I stacked Armor items, including Armor of Vengeance, and still took 350dmg/hit, more than once per second. How the hell do you counter this when you can't kill the minions, you can't kill HIM, and you can't survive more than about eight seconds, given that he already has and uses Pentinence.

If you get to this stage theres nothing You can do to counter it. You have to prevent the enemy from getting to this stage. Dont feed xp dont buy priests early etc.

There is a certain stage when any demigod is unbeatable, due to getting ahead in money/exp. Sometimes it is just a dg+certain item combination, sometimes its certain builds being overpowered to certain other demigods/builds, however in the end it is just pure skill. KNOWING what items to use and what skills to use in the right situations is also skill.

But youre welcome to vent =)

I think that it's a valid point that the Parasite Egg is completely and utterly fucking useless, against any minion, at all.

parasite egg is a little weak but works pretty well, you just need to coordinate with your partner to burst after you apply it.

Oak in particular has a good late game as it is.

In my opinion, Oak is the best 1 v 1 demigod in the game by far.  But he doesn't excel as much in group battles: your goal should be to never engage Oak 1 v 1.  Attack Oak with an ally, even if he has an ally himself.  If you both target the same enemy, you should be able to win, even if he has an ally because your heals should keep your team alive longer than them.

Also, use the tactics that suit your demigod.  Oak's damage, armor, and idols make him well-suited for a straight-up fight.  Sedna's speed and survivability make her well-suited for hunting down demigods when they're weak and chasing them even into their base and further well-suited for quickly capturing flags, and further well-suited for ambushing demigods who are under assault by one of your allies.

It's just like early game, you cant harass sedna/qot... cause you will die.

trying playing against Sedna computer in tournament mode.        Seriously if the computer was that tough in online play I would actually wish my teammates would drop or rage quit.

1 sedna with a creep wave will take out your entire team

End of Jaxian's quote

UB kind of beats Oak in 1v1... he has higher damage output and no reliance on Mana, plus Ooze builds slow his autoattack down significantly and can't be debuffed with shield (well, the speed debuff can be, but Ooze stays) and kills minions fast. It really depends on who stacked more HP items for that fight, though UB has the advantage because he can run away (Even with pentience affecting him, UB is still fast enough to get away with just boots of speed, unless the Oak has Wand of Speed[which everybody should have.])

Ooze has no chance of beating morale buffed spirits, UB will be mincemeat in no time :)

Um, if you Parasite Egg Oak, shouldn't your pounces be doing 1000 damage to each spirit? That plus a few autoattacks should quickly render the spirits dead.

Of course, yes, they will be replaced, but having those initial 10 off you...

Maybe I just don't know how Parasite Egg works. :)

All the time you are focusing one one spirit, Oak and the other spirits are hitting you. Plus, spirits are easily replaced, and can get quite a bit of health.
